If you’re going to be a bigoted idiot about refugees and people who have immigrated to our country, a lot of the time to get away from adversity and fear for their own safety, may I remind you of a line in our NATIONAL ANTHEM:
*ahem*
“For those who’ve come across the seas, we’ve boundless plains to share. With courage let us all combine to advance Australia fair.”
If you call yourself an Australian, and sing this national anthem with so much pride, you might want to stand by the things you’re so PROUDLY singing about.
